Netbeans Java on Mac OS 10.6.1 snow leopard appears to have a memory leak?

Hey there. Been running Netbeans 6.7.1 (Java version) on Mac 10.6.1. Every few hours Netbeans runs out of memory (512mb). I manually set my netbeans.conf as follows:

Same problem: Netbeans starts out using ~80mb of heap and that steadily grows until it hits its limit (has grown to over 1gb / I restart the app).

This is not building any apps but simply editing a J2EE application's java files. Usually takes about a half hour to eat up all of my memory, less time when the Xmx limit is lower.

I would file a bug but Issuezilla is down till next week. Any tips in the mean time? Attached is my log file.

update servers were down yesterday(i think). After installing all updates I have the same problems
