Send sms message to the sender itself

As the topic,.. I've implemented a mobile sms application using netbeans IDE 6.5.1. And it will be run in a Mobile device. I tried to send sms message to the sender itself,.. is it possible?

Actually, I want to get the phone number of the sender and save the phone number in RMS,..

Not clear, why do you want to send sms to itself?!
On 6.5.1 you can start TWO simulators (they will have different numbers),
and then send sms from one to the other back and forth.
Of course, if your app allows it

No, i don't think that you can send sms to yourself.

You could send sms messages using wap service by your provider to your self if you buy some credits from some Bulk SMS Providers and connect their Bulk SMS Gateway and send it to your self it is the only way of sending sms messages to your mobile phone through your own mobile phone.
