"GDB version 0 is not supported on this platform" with GDB 7.0/AMD64

Hi,
I am using NetBeans 6.7.1 to compile and debug on a remote host running Ubuntu 9.10/AMD64. It has GDB version 7.0.

I am getting the message "GDB version 0 is not supported on this platform, continue at your own risk". Everything seems fine after, though. Debugging works, breakpoints, etc. At least so far...

So, is this something I should be worried about, or is just that NetBeans doesn't explicitly support GDB 7.0, but fortunately it is compatible?

I'm getting this message too using AMD Linux 64 netbeans 6.7 with gdb 7.0 after upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10

I'm curious to know if this is something to be concerned about.

This is just a warning. Anyway there was no gdb 7.0 at the time of NB
6.7 or 6.7.1.
So we can not guarantee that it will work with those NB versions.
NB 6.8 will support gdb 7.0.
