Can't start gdb

Hi all,
I'm using netbeans 6.7.1 and gdb 7.0 on kde. The problem is gdb can't be started and I can't debug any C/C++ program.
When start debug, a dialog shows: "External terminal [/usr/bin/konsole, -e, /tmp/gdb_helper_7554591944592321692.sh] failed to launch, return code 0". At the same time a konsole windows shows with the only text "[Press Enter to close window]".
gdb works very well if i start it in console. But it is very boring that i can't debug in netbeans. Is there any way to get it work? Thanks very much.

NetBeans 6.7.1 has problems with Konsole from KDE4. You need select other terminal (call context menu on project, select Properties menu item and change "Run|Console Type" or "Run|Terminal Type")

Hello,

can you please check the issue:
https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=168997
it was fixed in the NB 6.8 branch.

A workaround is to use output window:
Project properties/Run/Console type -> output window
