I have been suffer in this problem since I install NetBeans 6.8 in my computer. I had used 6.5 for some months and I have never encounter this problem.
Some text of my code just disappeared like that.

The text is there, but it just appear to be transparent.
It cause me problem because I cannot see my full code at a glance, I have to click at the spot, make some change and the text will appear for a few seconds.....

Help please...[/img]

The text that is not displaying for you is italicized. I'm not sure
why that would cause you a problem but my guess is you have to look
into Tools -> Options -> Fonts & Colors -> Syntax, Language, = All
Languages, Category: = Default. Mine hasn't been changed and is set
to Monospaced 12 (Windows & Linux) Monospaced 13 Mac OS X. Only
Linux, however actually has a font named Monospaced.

Try a different font and/or size though it probably should remain a
monospaced font like Monaco or Courier
