I downloaded netbeans yesterday, but I can't get it to run my programs. I have mainly programmed in visual studio and this is the first time I am trying to use netbeans. In case of C++ I understand that I need a separate compiler. But why doesn't the Java applications work. When I open a new project and choose java application it says not all modules can be enabled followed by a long list of some jar files.
This is the first time I am using java as well and have almost a Null knowledge on both netbeans and java. I would appreciate any help to get me working. For the record I installed Java jdk as well from their website, but still nothing happens.

Can you provide a list of the jars or at least a screenshot? Otherwise
it's like looking into a crytall ball in order to predict something.

First of all let me apologize for my late reply, I don't have access to internet at my home. I attached a screenshot. Kindly look into it. Also before this window, it also gave a ,message that JDK is missing. But I already have it installed. Any help please.
