Hi,
I've been working on a project hosted in SourceForge.net for several
years now. The previous owners quit from working on it some time
before I took over it and, while I got commit and release rights, I
never got full rights on the project.
It didn't matter to me until now, when the place where issue tracking
was is undergoing a restructuring and the component for the project
will be removed.
So I've decided to migrate it to Kenai.com (I know the Kenai story to
migrate/rename it to java.net). My questions are:
- what's the best way to integrate an existing NetBeans project into
Kenai.com? Will [1] be sufficient?
- about the source code repository change; I will change from CVS to
Mercurial; I'm worried about the CVS directories getting uploaded to
the Mercurial repository. Will NetBeans prevent this automatically, or
should I manually remove them before committing to Kenai?
TIA

The simplest way to do what you want is:
1. Delete CVS directories
2. Open NetBeans project in the IDE
3. Select project node in Explorer and invoke "Share on Team Server" action.
Warning! Your CVS history will be lost!

Jan
