|
|
I am new to java web applications. I am using this tutorial (http://www.javaguicodexample.com/javawebjpajsfmysqldatabase12.html) to get started on the same but i am stuck on displaying any row that is in the database (Mysql).
The binding works well but on running the application, the visual jsf table displays "no items found". The drop-down-list cannot also display any items.
Please help. |

Hello Jonte,
Which version of NetBeans are you using? The last best version to do Visual JSF on was 6.7.1. I have not tried putting the nb files on 6.8 or 6.9 so your mileage may vary. The bindings in general work with MySQL without issue. Can you provide some more specifics.

Hi jyeary,
I was using nb 6.5.
I realized what I was actually doing wrong. It was the database login credentials that were wrong. I had used a blank password for the root user.
Thanks though for taking your time to respond to this.
John. |
