Hello - this drives me nuts, so i have to ask about it.

Background: I did this tutorial. http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/javaee/entappclient.html
using netbeans 7.2 and 7.3. It works excellent.

One thing though, the tutorial uses ant. I want maven.
I tried to redo it in maven, using the same steps, but instead of the ant wizards i used the maven-> wizards.
EAR deploys fine - but the application client want deploy, and if it run it, i only get nullpointers on the @EJB.

I tried comparing the files and so on. My theory is that something isn't right with the Netbeans-maven-application client generation.

Did someone else succed with this tutorial using maven with the include netbeans wizards? Maybe someone feel like trying the tutorial, both ant and maven?

If anyone else is looking to this, it's not implemented in Netbeans with Maven fully yet, see http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=204883
