Does somebody know,

if the python/jython plugin for nb 6.7.1
contains finally the official jython 2.5.0 release,

or does it still ship with the outdated jython 2.5 beta0?

If not any idea when it will be ready (or is this project dead?)

That should be 2.5 (final) according to
http://hg.netbeans.org/release67_fixes/rev/afabf4d9765b

If not, please file an issue (P2) at
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi?component=auc&subcomponent=beta&version=6.7
