Hi,

I am developing a web app on Visual Web Java Server Faces.
Does anyone try to develop a nested DropDownList? I need help.

My app works ok except when it calls the prerender() method for the
default values.

I mean, when I call a method that fire an event everything is ok.
But when the nested DDL is not still selected, the prerender() method
set a default value. And it is at this point where my app fails.

Any suggest will be really appreciate.

Thanks,
Jose Alvarez de Lara

Hi,

I have an idea.
No submit the page and load the nested DDL using Ajax.

But it is going to be a little bit complicated because once loaded
the nested DDL I need to get the first value of it.

When I am talking of a nested DDL I am meaning that I have
two DDL and deppending on the selected values of them my
nested DDL will has its corresponding values.

Thanks,
Jose Alvarez de Lara

Hi,

Is there any way to remove a TableRowGroup before
loading with its refreshed DataProvider?

Please, answer my question.

Best regards,
Jose Alvarez de Lara
