Hi,
It's been a while since I've used TortoiseSVN, but one of the features that
was really nice was the commit dialog allowed you to right click on the
to-commit file list and do various things, most useful being "view diff".
With NB, the workflow is not as efficient. I first do a "diff", open
textedit to record the commit message, close the diff stuff, then do open
the commit dialog and paste in the commit message. There's a good chance
I'm not using the tool the way is intended, in which case someone please
fill me in. Otherwise, what are your thoughts on my suggestion?
Jeremy

Hi,
and what about running Diff. From within the Diff view there is a
"Commit" button in the top of it.
Regards,

Hi Peter,
I think the problem is somewhere else... The point is that Jeremy (or anyone) probably wants to include the information about changes he made in the commit message. And you need to use diff in order to see these changes.
He opens the commit dialog and he would like to be able to see the diff while he is writing the commit message.
At this moment, he need to invoke diff and then he must make the notes about the changes in some editor. In the end he pastes the text into the commit text area.
The solution would be to allow users to invoke the diff from within the commit dialog (for example popup menu above the table)...
