"I installed JDK5 and Netbeans 6.5, and faced the problem: Javadb location is
not set correctly. I checked this forum but couldnt find the relevant option
in Tools of Netbeans IDE so i opened services tab in netbeans6.5 IDE and
click on javadb under Databases. right click javadb --> properties--> browse
java DB installation to the directory of javadb in either glassfish version.
Problem Solved."

I'm using 6.0 final to develop a web application, to be deployed to
glassfish,
and using the local glassfish for development. When I run my app inside
NB6,
I get an "Information" dialog that says "The Java DB location is not set
correctly."

What's up with that? I'm not using Java DB for anything, though my web app
does
use JPA/toplink. I notice in the services tab that there are three broken
connections
to jdbc:derby on localhost. I didn't create them, so they must be there by
default
when NB6 is installed.

It seems that clicking the OK button on the dialog sends it away without
further
ado, and it no longer appears unless I restart glassfish. How can I make
it not
appear at all? Thanks.
