Hi Cedric,

unfortunately the profiler doesn't provide more information than you've already discovered. We're
planning to improve the threads debugging in future profiler versions.

Hi,

I'm profiling a remote glassfish v3 application server and it works
quite well. What particularly interests me is the threads timeline,
which displays all threads running, and when they are eventually
blocked or in waiting mode.

My question is : when I have a thread bar in red (meaning thread
blocked), how can I get more information from the source of this
blocking ?
When I right-click and choose the more details option, I only get a pie
chart representing the percentage of time that the process is blocked
or waiting or running, but I can't get any information from the source
of this problem.

I've tested others profilers (like jprofiler or yourkit) and I can see
the stack trace which causes the blocking point for my thread. Is there
a way to have such information with the NetBeans profiler ?

I've tried to do a custom CPU analysis performance, in which I have
checked the "Profile new Threads / Runnables" box, but I don't know
how to get it.

Thanks.
