Good morning Lauren,

Yes it works fine. Beautifully.
32 bit or 64 bit.

Netbeans relies on the JDK. JDKs work fine on all versions of Windows.

Greetings,

Windows 7 was released in October 2009 and NetBeans 6.7.1 in July, 2009.
So testing on Windows 7 was not performed for that release.

(see Supported OS section of the 6.7.1 Release notes:
http://netbeans.org/community/releases/67/relnotes.html#system_requirements)

NetBeans 6.8 was tested on Windows 7 and should be fine.
http://netbeans.org/community/releases/68/relnotes.html

Using NetBeans 6.8 is recommended, but it's possible 6.7.1 would work
fine on Windows7, though I have no personal experience with that OS. You
can definitely test it yourself and make your own determination to see
if it performs well enough.

please tell me if Netbeans is compatible?

works for me --win7 64bit, 64bit jdk;

installer wont work for 651(on win7) , perhaps doesnt with 671 -- just
install the zip distro.

IMHO nb671 has too many issues to use -- either use 651 or 68, or 69dev
builds
