Confusion: Profiler target is stored in private/private.xml

Hi All.

Why does the profiler store its ant target for free form projects into the nbproject/private/private.xml?

As far as I know the private directory should not go into our source control system.

All other ant targets are defined in the project.xml file.

Can I add the
nbproject/private/private.xml
file to our source control. It will then be read only in most cases.

On a different topic: Wouldn't it be nice to allow the user to enter a name for the profile snapshot files. I have loads of snapshots and I have to write down the auto generated name and what I was profiling on a pad.
