So I've developed an EJB server component and a standalone SE client that uses the server. Now I would like to implement authorization/authentication mechanism. I've googled and seen plenty of on how to do it when the client runs in ACC but haven't managed to find anything that would describe how to implement it with SE client.

I've already set up a JDBC realm on the server (Glassfissh bundled with Netbeans 6.9) where users and credentials are stored and would like to know how ones can use JAAS to facilitate login module and subsequent authorization during remote calls.

Any pointers and clues?

Thanks in advance.
