Jumping Cursor Problem

I have searched everywhere but have been unable to find a solution to this annoying problem (or 'feature').

In the Netbeans editor, every time I click at the end of the line the cursor jumps one character previous to the end of the line.

For instance, if I had the following line and I tried to click to the right of any of the text the cursor always jumps to where the pipe is:

private function validateData() |{

Is there any way to turn this off?

OK, so it was the jVi plugin that was the culprit. As soon as I disabled it the editor started working like normal. To bad. I'm a big fan of the vim editor.
