Cloning the NetBeans Repository

Hello all,
Does anyone how to clone specific project from Netbeans repository? Suppose, I want to make a clone of Scala project from main/contrib, then can you suggest some way out to get only that repos, and not the complete contrib repos.

CVS, SVN does that, right? But, Mercurial I am not sure, can anyone help?

I will not do it. Mercurial is designed to be completely distributed. Thus, you get everything, and then it is itself a standalone repository which can be used and then merged back into the main. There was talk at one time of doing some kind of a read-only view through SVN, but I don't think anything is happening with that.
