New plugins are coming out from anywhere as are new programming languages, and we can't wait for netBeans to code all the plugins for these new programming languages. I think the tendency of netBeans will be to allow plugins from another IDE's (like Eclipe). This way, plugin programmers won't have to worry about writing plugins for different IDE's, they will only have to program for one IDE, and it will work on that one and on netBeans.

This will leade to an amazing amout of plugins that will allow programmers not to worry about the availability of a plugin for netBeans and will increase the number of people using it.
