Hi all!

I would like to ask what happened with GWT4NB module? Anyway, this is
the right place to do it?

At weekend I have installed a new Netbeans my machine at home and I
saw it in the Plugins section. After install it worked very well. At
Monday I wanted to install on my desktop at my workplace and I didn't
find in the Plugins section. I don't understand what happens, why is
missing?
After this I wanted to download from here
(http://java.net/projects/gwt4nb/downloads) but, honestly, which
version is good for me? In the "Downloads" section there is a
downloadable file with 2.1.0 version number. If I take a look at my
machine at home I can see 2.6.21 version number. I have found
something under "Archived releases" section with 2.7.x and 2.6.2
version numbers. Here I felt that I'm totally confused which version
is good for me.

At last I tried all version of GWT4NB module but all unusable because
when I wanted to set up the gwt stuff I got nullpointer exception and
I couldn't compile the project.

Any idea what should I do eventually?

Thanks for any suggestions in advance!

András

Hello András,

the GWT4NB plugin was indeed removed from the NetBeans Update Center
as per request [1] from Tim Lebedkov - current GWT4NB plugin developer.

In order to obtain the latest version of this plugin or if you want
to report bugs in the functionality you will need to go to the GWT4NB
project site located at java.net.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,

Hi Jiri,

Yes, it helps and thank you very much. Do you have any information why
Tim asked this? Will change something regarding gwt4nb plugin? Do you
know how will the users informed when a new version released?

Maybe because the first letter "G" stands for "Google", while NetBeans
is Oracle's baby?

All depends on you. Smile

Ahhh... I didn't recognize this relation. I know that Google -
Facebook stands in "war". I can't see any front between Google and
Oracle but java licence things regarding to Android OS.
