After recently taking a position at a DOE lab (NREL) I found out that I was not allowed to use Netbeans due to something in the Sun portion of Oracle's current Netbeans EULA. As the legal department at the lab is rather vague, I don't know exactly which portion this is - however, Oracle is apparently slow-moving or unwilling to make change the particular section. While I do not claim to understand any details involved, I was wondering if anyone else in the Netbeans community had run into related issues or knew anything about such issues...

note: Eclipse is approved for use here at the lab...
