I'm trying to use a navigator panel to show info about a selected node in an explorer view file directory beantreeview. How can I get around or bypass the mime type registration. The jpanel that i have has only one textfield (for testing) but it never shows up. I've gone through all the tutorials but no info on displaying any arbitrary content in a navigator window. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
