visual jsf table data provider

i want to know how to work with visual jsf table.
i have try objectlListDataProvider object as a sourcedata for a table .but when i modify the data in browser. i try to get it from objectListDataProvider on the server ,suprise me .objectListDataprovider1.getList() is a empty list.
so ,some one can help me i want to get the browser submit data form the table ..and introduce some article about visual jsf table to me .
