Hello,

I've just started reading through the Java EE Tutorial (Application Server 9.1) to catchup on Java 5 as well as learn Netbeans. I would like to run through this tutorial using Netbeans but I'm already hitting a problem on the second chapter.

The problem is getting Netbeans to connect with the app server. When I goto:
Tools -> Servers -> Add Server

I only see Sun Application Server v.8, and no 9.1. When I try to add the 9.1 server using the v.8, it says the platform is not v.8 and cannot use it. Is Netbeans 6.5 unable to support Java App Server 9.1??

not sure what I'm missing...

Thank you

do you see 'GlassFish v2'?

SJSAS 9.1 is based on GlassFish v2, so that should work.
