Error description : Uncaught exception java/lang/OutOfMemoryError: Maximum byte code length (32kB) exceeded

Hello all,

I am doing a J2ME application and making a reasonable use of RMS.
At a certain point, I came to see the following error :

Uncaught exception java/lang/OutOfMemoryError: Maximum byte code length (32kB) exceeded.

I am using NetBeans IDE 6.5 with default configuration.

Please suggest me a way out as early as possible.

change heap size and storage size from tools/java platforms/select sun wtk/ preferences/ storage menu------

I made the changes as per you suggested; but it didn't make any difference to my application. It again failed to launch showing the same error...!

Is there anything else I can do to remove the error? Please help me as early as possible...!

thanks a lot for your suggestion. Just let me know what root directory to be given while changing the storage size and heap size.
