HI!
I have read in some blogs that this is possible, but whenever I try to
use "Profile file" on a unit test class, I get
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException.
I can profile "normal" classes in the project without problems. And of
course I can run the unit tests with no problems.
This happens with NB 6.5 and 6.7 RC1.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
it's not clear what's the problem cause just based on your email - you should file a bug report for
the ClassNotFoundException at http://www.netbeans.org/issues/enter_bug.cgi?component=profiler and
provide the full IDE logfile there.
Anyway, tests should be profiled using 'Profile Test for' action, not by 'Profile file'. If you
select a class which has appropriate test available in Unit Test Packages, the 'Profile | Profile
Other | Profile Test for [classname]' action should be enabled.
