Hey,
I've wanted to continue a project I've started a while ago, but I had to see, that my NetBeans doesn't wanted like I wished.
I tryed to create a new file, and it freezed. I tryed it several times, but every try had the same result.
I also tryed restarting my computer or restarting the ide, but it didn' t solved the problem.
I've got Mac OS X 10.5.7 and NetBeans 6.5
Best regards, Sebastian |

| I tested a bit to solve the problem and now I get out that Netbeans does create empty files without extension, but PHP files ore others like xhtml doesn't work. |

If you updated to the latest Java, then that may be the problem. There
are some known issues with this Java update. Do you use JDK 5 or JDK 6
to run NetBeans? (Go to NetBeans -> About NetBeans to find out.) JDK 6
should work better. You can also try using the 6.8 dev builds, where
this problem is hopefully solved.

Please let us know whether this helped.
Thanks,
Petr

Hey,
The same thing is happening to me. I think it might have something to do with a recent OSX update. Everything was working fine up until yesterday when I ran the Apple 'software' updates. Now, I'm having the same problem.
Any news on this bug? _________________ --
