change mouse cursor color?

this is so frustrating to me, and even though it's a minor issue, it
prevents me from using netbeans more often. anyone have an idea?

Well, that particular setting changes the actual color when you place the I-bar somewhere and click, but DOES NOT change the actual I-bar color. It still remains gray.

I, too have a little frustration at this, as it's a bit difficult to pick up the location of the cursor when, for instance, you have two functions/scripts/css side by side.

I'm a bit confused on when the cursor is a basic mouse version and when it is an "I" bar. Can anyone help with when you get the Mouse pointer cursor in the editor pane and when you get the "I" bar cursor?

Using a dark colour scheme and cannot see the i-bar.
I'd be really interested in an answer. Any ideas?

Hi,

as an alternative, you can choose another pointers scheme at the Operating System level.
If you configure Windows / Unix to use a pink I-bar, the NetBeans editor will show a pink I-bar too
