Hello,

I use filtering of the sun-resources.xml file and wonder that NB
apparently deploys the resource file from the source tree and not from
the target tree as I expected. As the result the maven variables will
not be substituted in the deployed resource.

Am I missing anything, or is this a principally issue? Should not
generally be deployed from target tree?

Regards
Sebastian

No, I think you nailed the issue. I don't believe anyone has ever asked
for this before, not that there is anything wrong with that :-)

File an RFE for 6.8. Maybe there is something we can do about this. It
may require an api change for certain NetBeans api's and compatibility
with existing projects (that don't copy sun-resources.xml to the build
folder) would of course be required.
