I am using NetBeans 6.5.1 for a J2EE 1.4 web project running on JBoss-GA.4.2.2. I need to add a J2EE 1.4 compliant Web Services client to the project, but NetBeans only allows JAX-WS client style. Any suggestions for a workaround? For what it's worth, I've found that I can add a JAX-RPC style client to a straight Java client, not that that would do me any good. Also for what it's worth, I did try creating a JAX-WS client and haven't gotten it to work yet (not that it would be acceptable if it did work). Thanks...

Thanks... I have the JAX-RPC Web Services plugin v. 0.2 from NetBeans installed, and it works for a number of things, such as creating a JAX-RPC web service for a straight Java project without web content. Is there another JAX-RPC plugin I can try?

Thanks... When I access the JAX-RPC tab for either services or clients, I simply get a note telling me that there are no JAX-RPC services or clients in the project, regardless of whether or not I've tried to add one. This is especially odd for services, since I have been able to add JAX-RPC services to web projects (at least according to the GUI, that is) -- it's only JAX-RPC clients that aren't being allowed.
