mysql update and insert problem using netbeans

hi

recently i just started to switch over from MSAccess to MySql. but after i have switch all my data over to MySql, in my Netbeans project i'm able to do a select statement.

but when i try to do insert, update or other modification queries i does not reflect into the database. whats wired is that if i copy and paste the same command into Mysql Query Browser it works.

can someone please help me!!
