Where http://portalpack.netbeans.org/download.html suddenly gone?.. Am
I missing something or it is discontinued?

The Project is still active. But the project files are not migrated
yet. It should be fixed by this weekend.

Until the acquisition is finalized, I doubt Oracle can slay anything. If you're worried by that "until" Wink well, the fact that Oracle drops something doesn't mean it vanishes. Smile

If you're worried by that "until" Wink well, the fact that Oracle drops
something doesn't mean it vanishes. :-)

I would just add that portalpack sources are under main/contrib for
anyone who worry about the future of the project or want to contribute
to it. The worst case if Oracle decide to drop it any community member
can step in and request ownership of the module.

The latest source code for Portal Pack (3.0.2) which is compatible with NetBeans 6.5 and greater is there at

http://hg.netbeans.org/release65/contrib

And all development is going on that branch.

Currently the code in main/contrib repository is little older. So Any one interested for latest code can get it from release65/contrib.

Hey, do you know it is a bug or feature: if I create a service for
Liferay (i.e. silly Hibernate things for CRUD), then once I change
something (e.g. add new finder or new entity), then re-generate
services — all puffs and never compiles anymore. The number of errors
is so huge %-( that I simply gave up to look after...

Where can I download it at a time when not working portalpack.netbeans.org.
