How to import an utility freemarker template in new file wizard ?

Hi all,

I'm developing a "new file template" plugin. The plugin creates two
related files from two freemarker templates declared in the layer, but I
would find very useful to define some shared freemarker macros in a third
template and import it into the other two.
Is it possible to do this ? I've not tried because I can't even figure
out how.
