|

I've run into what seems to be a bug in NB 6.8, and I'm looking for some confirmation that I'm not crazy. I've created a basic Maven project using the QuickStart Archetype. I then do the following:
1) Create a new JFrame form by right clicking on the package and selecting 'New -> JFrame Form'
2) Create a new JPanel form by right clicking on the package and selecting 'New -> JPanel Form'
3) Compile the project.
4) In the design view of the newly created JFrame form, I try to drag and drop the new JPanel form onto it. The mouse cursor changes, indicating that it cannot be dropped. I'm unable to drag and drop any custom form onto any other form.
The exact steps listed above work when using an Ant based NetBeans project. Any thoughts? |

https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=118694 and duplicates.
Strangely enough filed as TASK, not DEFECT.

| Thanks. Based on the task title I would never have concluded it was related to my issue. I guess I'll have to make it an Ant project for the time being... |
