Thanks for using NetBeans! The best place to begin for mobile
development using NetBeans is the MIDP quick start:

The list of tutorials to help you get started with mobile development is

That is awful advertising "Thanks for using NetBeans!"
The website is not bad but it may not work for everyone. I made a post on daniweb.com in regards of variety of resources that maybe to some interest to people starting with Java Microedition. Link to the post or more in detail list can be found on my site.
