|
|
Hi -
Sorry - platform newbie...
I'm using Netbeans 6.9, when I create a Netbeans Platform Application and go to New->Window, I get the window position options of output, rightSlidingSide, properties, bottomSlidingSide, leftSlidingSide, explorer and editor. However, when I try to add a Maven Netbeans Platform Application, I have additional options for code_evaluator, navigator, CssPreviewTCSmode, etc.
When I run the two applications (Maven and non), one launches in what appears to be a full Netbeans IDE (with start page, the Java menus like debug, profile, etc) while the other is in what I would regard as the simple 'Platform' with stripped down menus and none of the extra windows.
Can someone explain to me the discrepency and how I could 'strip down' the Maven version into the simpler platform version?
Looking at the Maven Platform tutorial, it seems like they don't have these additional options and don't get a full IDE.
Thanks a lot! |

the nbm-application project contructs the application from it's dependencies. make sure you have just the modules you want around..
