Today I updated my NetBeans 6.9 install (via the little notification in the bottom right area of the IDE). As a result of this, web service clients now no longer work outside of calls to services hosted on localhost.

I now see errors like the following when I try and run a program that calls a web service client that is hosted on an external machine:

Code:
Exception in thread "main" com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.ClientTransportException: The server sent HTTP status code 502: Bad Gateway
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.checkStatusCode(HttpTransportPipe.java:196)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.process(HttpTransportPipe.java:168)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.processRequest(HttpTransportPipe.java:83)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.transport.DeferredTransportPipe.processRequest(DeferredTransportPipe.java:105)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.api.pipe.Fiber.__doRun(Fiber.java:587)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.api.pipe.Fiber._doRun(Fiber.java:546)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.api.pipe.Fiber.doRun(Fiber.java:531)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.api.pipe.Fiber.runSync(Fiber.java:428)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.Stub.process(Stub.java:211)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.sei.SEIStub.doProcess(SEIStub.java:124)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.sei.SyncMethodHandler.invoke(SyncMethodHandler.java:98)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.sei.SyncMethodHandler.invoke(SyncMethodHandler.java:78)
        at com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.sei.SEIStub.invoke(SEIStub.java:107)
        at $Proxy31.metadataQuery(Unknown Source)
        at test.IngestImagery.blah(IngestImagery.java:33)
        at test.IngestImagery.main(IngestImagery.java:28)

I've tried all three of the proxy options in the IDE settings but the error remains. If I run the project from the command line as a .jar archive it works fine.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Actually,

I build the project make it rn successfully by CLI.
Then I change the source and the JDK used by creating another entry in the conf pointing to the same JDK as the startup one.
And now it works fine.
