This article mentions an embedded Apache Felix OSGi container in the netbeans IDE

Where is this embedded OSGI container, how is it invoked and how can you manually deploy your bundles and its dependencies to it?

Where is its auto deploy directory and its config file.

Any pointers will be very much appreciated.
