hi
i'm using java persistence api to connect by jdbc to an embedded javadb database, the boot password appears in the persistence.xml file. I cannot find out how to configure the program to ask for the password each time it connects, rather than storing the password in the xml file. The password is visible to anyone reading the persistence.xml file.
Is it possible to change this?
the data is encrypted but obviously not secure since the password is in this file.
thanks for your help
john
