Happy birthday Netbeans from Australia. I use Netbeans for defining file type specific languages (plugins). I also use Netbeans for ruby, Java and C++ programming. Yay for Netbeans. Happy Birthday!

I love the NetBeans editor as it provides very good environment for a starter user to get acquainted with the language by removing the environmental setup issues and other headaches.
It rocks...
Happy Birthday NetBeans..

Nice to see a Java IDE that doesn't suffer from the problem of having a million ways to get any particular functionality, all of which are lame. One way is enough, if it actually works.

Yes, I'm looking at you, Eclipse.

Happy Birthday Netbeans!!! I hope it would be the best Java IDE that ever exists until now. I am from Bolivia and I used to use JDeveloper to make my projects at the University but a friend show me Netbeans 4.1 3 Years Ago and I use this for everything. Thankyou Netbeans.

Hi there folks, my name is Angel Escobedo, im actually working in dotnet development by the way, in my last project i use NetBeans 6.1 IDE for J2EE, cause we dont have enought time to finish it and we really fall in love with the eviromentals tools and with the templates (spring and struts), we use at first glashfish integrated server for a first demo but then we change to tomcat for a more complex work, its impresive that this ide have all in one, i think that now it helps more with all new features in 6.5, i love this!

i also want to say ... "Happy Birth 10 Years NetBeans!!, thanks for made us a really simple development Very Happy "

I downloaded NetBeans when I have been looking for something to write my first pieces of Java code in. I've also found out that there was a thing called "Eclipse", but I couldn't get the hang of it, so I stuck with NetBeans then. It was an old version, kind of slow - but perfect for a person learning. Since then I have had netbeans installed most of the time.

Happy birthday netbeans!
