JBoss Application Server is robust, as it comes from the OpenSource giant RedHat. I have been using GlassFish Server for about an year now, but I would also like to try JBoss, although my loyalty and affection would remain towards GlassFish.

Also I have few friends in Industry who talk about Hibernate from RedHat Middleware and I am also learning Hibernate. I am downloading JBoss Enterprise Server which has in-built support for Hibernate module. I hope it would revolutionize ORM domain.

I watched the iReport webinar on building, testing and running reports on NetBeans. I have been using iReports over an years time and it is a magical tool.

I have learnt load of new stuff from that webinar, which i haven't known in my entire programming career such as multiple sub-reports.

iReport integrates with NetBeans very well, the report definition is in XML so no special knowledge is required in order to create a report. The report builder is very good.

I ve used iReport for my university projects to manipulate data around.

I just have to say, NetBeans with iReport, plenty of cute solutions!
