We just had this same problem. For us the solution was somewhat strange,
and we found it here:

(see at the bottom about deleting a directory and redeploying)

Thanks Glenn.

Can't test that atm, I went on to work on something else and can't lose track of where I am at the moment, but I'll let you know whether that works when I get the chance.
