i have the same problem

try clicking ALT+SHIFT+ENTER twice

Hi!

I found solution that works on my PC.

You have to modify your netbeans.conf file.
Try add:
Code:

-J-Dnetbeans.popup.linuxhack=true

to netbeans_default_options line.

I'm currently working on fedora 15 with gnome-shell enabled (normal mode - no fallback mode) with sun jdk6u26 (installed using http://www.city-fan.org/tips/SunJava6OnFedora)
