Missing:1) com.sun:plugin:jar:1.6.0_20 during Maven Build

Dear Netbean Users:

I'm getting the Maven Build error
Missing:
----------------
1 com.sun:plugin:jar:1.6.0_20

during a Maven Build.

I know that my POM file says I need Java JDK 1.6.0_20 but there is something else going on. For example, I use the exact same pom at my home computer with no problems. In both locations I only have JDK 1.6.0_19 installed? At least I think:)

As anybody seen this error and found a work around?

thank you very much for your response. I actually went to the Central repository and I went down to the URL called

http://search.maven.org/#browse%7C-116520331

I don't know if the above link will work but it puts you in
com.sun subdirectory.


Here I don't see the anything like a plugin for jars?

Perhaps I need to check other repositories. If I find out anything I'll bring it out.

You can go to the central repository and check if the plugs you reference in maven POM are there !

If not adjust your POM accordingly. And maven should download them automatic if they are not in your local .m2/repository
