|
|
Hi,
From NetBeans 7.0.1, I start up Glassfish 3.1 and deploy my web service. The web service works fine.
As I stop Glassfish and start it again, in the Services tab of NetBeans: under Servers -> Glassfish 3.1 -> Applications, my web service is shown to be already deployed but it is not. I have to reploy it even though I make no change to my web serivce.
Is there a way to configure Netbeans/Glassfish so that a web service is deployed once and it is automatically redeployed at the next startup of Glassfish ? |

My guess is that you are doing a directory deployment of the service from NetBeans to an instance running in NetBeans. If you would like permanence, please try deploying the application in the auto-deploy directory on the server, or deploying it through the admin interface. This will do a war deployment on the server which does not rely on temporary directories in NetBeans.
