Since we are a C# Microsoft .Net Shop, I have created C# Microsoft .Net WCF Web Service with a ComplexType for the Input parameter and Imported into my BPEL Model as a Partner Link.

<xs:complexType name="EscalationComplexType">
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="bodyField" nillable="true" type="xs:string"/>
<xs:element name="fromField" nillable="true" type="xs:string"/>
<xs:element name="subjectField" nillable="true" type="xs:string"/>
<xs:element name="titleField" nillable="true" type="xs:string"/>
<xs:element name="toField" nillable="true" type="xs:string"/>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>

Within my process when I try to Assign values to the ComplexTypes elements using the Mapper, I then get the following Error when the Copy is executed during Debugging….

HTTPBC-E00720: Provider for service [{http://j2ee.netbeans.org/wsdl/sstSLAWSDL}sstStartSLAService] endpoint [sstStartSLAPort] responded with an error status. U generally get this error if u are trying to set a value in a variable that is not initialised (null). However to avoid such issues u can check "Ignore missing Data" in the Bpel editor. U can do this by doing a rt.click on the top of the process in Design mode of the BPEL.
