c++ build failing

I installed Neatbeans IDE 7.1.1 and then MinGW. I changed my environmental variable by adding the path but when I try to build a program I get the following message:

'test' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
The syntax of the command is incorrect.
! was unexpected at this time.
C:\FPC\2.4.4\bin\i386-Win32\make.exe: *** [.validate-impl] Error 255


BUILD FAILED (exit value 2, total time: 691ms)

Can anybody help me?

Is that the make.exe from Msys? You are supposed to use it. Normally in MinGW/msys/1.0/bin/make.exe

The make.exe is outside of MinGW folder. It's in a folder called FPC. The MinGW folder doesn't have a subfolder Msys.
