In my program I am trying to create a duplicate Keymapping shortcut profile and it seems that my program is ignoring it. If I place a shortcut on any action on the duplicate profile and clear it from the default Netbeans profile it doesnt work, but if it exisits on the same action in the default Netbeans profile and regardless if it is in the duplicate profile, it works. I've tested multiple actions to verify this.

I've also created another duplicate profile within my program to verify this and I get the same result. I have also created a blank netbeans platform project to test it out there and came up with the same result as I did in my program with all of the above testing and results. I also tried compiling my program on Netbeans IDE versions 7.0.1 and 7.1 and got the same result. Its seems that these netbeans platform programs load the default Netbeans keymap profile and ignore everythgin else.

Is there some type of Keymap Option configuration in Netbeans that will enable duplicate Keymap profiles to be loaded?

If you add the Editor Options module and resolve it to add all of the other dependency modules it will cause the keymapper to work properly. Here are the steps:

- right click on the module suite
- click 'Properties'
- Under 'categories' click 'libraries'
- expand the 'ide' module suite
- click the check box beside 'editor options'
- click 'Resolve' button at the bottom.

I don't know why you have to add all of these modules to get the Keymapper API to work properly, but it works. Maybe there can be a change in the next IDE release where these modules don't have to be added for it to work properly.

Thanks to theofanis@netbeans.org for the suggestion.
