|
|
To all,
I'm using 7.2 Beta, it appears that there is a way to use an upgraded version of Primefaces by creating a new library. However, it's not working (or I'm not doing it right). E.g.:
- New web project
- enter project details
- select Java Server Faces
- select components
- select the 'more' by Primfaces
- Select name (e.g. PrimeFaces 3.3) enter the library path to a newer jar file/version
- Say ok.
Now, the library is created (tools, libraries, it's there). But there's no way to select it when creating a web project with PrimeFaces. There's no listing for the new library in the drop down and NetBeans deploys the 3.2 version every time.
Note: I've tried just replacing the library in the path (keeping the 3.2 name) but there must be a crc type check going on since it will error out if you do that.
So, after creating the new primefaces library, how do you get NetBeans to use it?
My thanks,
Durnik |

Hello Durnik,
thank you for reporting your troubles. Next time feel free to raise an
issue to get it fixed as soon as possible.
I created an issue which has to be resolved into final Nb7.2 release:
http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=213581
BTW, most probably we will update the bundled PrimeFaces library to
version 3.3 as well.
Thanks a lot,
Martin.

Martin,
Thanks for raising a bug report (and I see in there it's already been fixed and will be available in the final). I'm new to NetBeans so I'll get the hang of bug reports soon.
Thanks once again,
Bob H
